Survival For the Kindest

The president recently announced that bars would be closed. He also indefinitely suspended the opening of certain businesses mostly in the tourism industry. Therefore, in these dark economic times, it is all, survival for the kindest!

Kindness must defeat competition in business today.

All citizens must work together to keep each other afloat. You must lay differences aside as you all try to get through the curfew and business closures. The economy is still in scar as we all hope that things get better. For more than hope, we can have partnership, commitment and resilience. Most of all, we must be very kind in business at this time.

“Kindness defeats competition. Businesses grow from competition but they live for a longer time out of collaboration with others”.

Alfred Yambo

You must see a much bigger goal in collaboration than in competition. Even the closed businesses can be transformed into other businesses that exist. An alcohol selling company can be changed into a soda selling company in a certain amount of time. Better yet, it could deliver packaging bottles and cans for other businesses.

So, no one has to be put out of business. You need to work together. You need to brainstorm as many business ideas as you can. You need each other. The laws have been passed. The president has spoken and now, the citizens have to survive. We urge you to see kindness over competition at this time.
