Preparation For Criminal Justice Digitization

The government has been recently digitizing some public services in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. It started with the court cases and now it is crossing over to the OB Statement recordings for the police.

Digitization of the criminal justice system may yet benefit Kenyans.

The move is still being done in Nairobi and soon will be applied to all counties of the country. The residents of Ndhiwa are therefore urged to be in readiness to this digitization as we all hope for a continuous public administration. The important public needs must be met such as, acquisition of title deeds and finalizing of court cases. New criminals have to be reported and justice served for all.

“Criminals must not get away with crime even in the face of a national disaster. Justice must always be served”.

There may yet be a lot of advantages in digitizing legal public services. This assures the citizens that they can follow developments and review what they have going on in the justice system. It is a way to stay up to date with any changes in one’s case.

As you continue with your daily businesses, bear in mind that there soon will be a mass digitization of the criminal justice system. It will also impact on you, the Ndhiwa constituency resident. Let us make this work for us.

Try your best to be on your best behaviour at all times as going to jail now is a terrible thing. The COVID-19 is not favourable to the criminals in jail and you are much safer being at home.
